On this page I'll try to put down to most recent news facts that I've found, got or heard of. I will refresh this page whenever I can, there for old news will not stay on this page forever anymore. Sometimes it will be moved to one of the career pages if the news belongs there or it will just be removed for good. On the forum however you will be able to find even old news as I never deleted any of those topics.

Today it's a special day! Today it's Brett's 45th Birthday and the opening of the brand new Brett Climo forum! This is the link: http://brettclimo.forums-free.com But by clicking on the button on the Index page you will get there too. Hope to see all the old members but also some new members there!

In a couple of weeks I'll be opening a brand new Brett Climo Forum! I and my two moderators have been working on it for months as it's a lot of work to copy almost everything from the old forum to the new. But I'm happy with the result as the new forum has more of a one big happy family feeling. The old one was split up a bit in 2 sections; the Dutch and the English side. On the new forum this is gone. There are still of course a few boards that will be split into the 2 languages, mostly for the stories and the more private conversations.
And also there are new features to be found; like a chat box, a lot of fun smilies and a portal page. On this last page you can immediately view what has been posted when you were gone.
The new forum will be launched on Brett's birthday; 26th of September! And to celebrate this I also started a little competition where you can win a DVD of your choice from my DVD list which you can find on the forum. What do you have to do? Think of a text/slogan that will fit into this banner:
And email this before the 20th of September to my email address: dianne@brettclimo.nl Make sure that you write "competition new forum" in the subject. The one that we, me and my 2 moderators, like the most will win. And the text will be placed into the new banner which you can see on the 26th of September on the new forum. I hope everybody just gives it a try! Good luck and see you on the new forum!

A few days ago I finally got the DVD with the interview of David Blake on it. I'm going to try to place the Q&A as soon as I can on the page about the Batavia's Temper Blood Fury. But as I have to have surgery next week I can't do it for that time. That's why I did place the important thing on it right now; that the filming is going to start in April!

About a week ago 2 members of my forum have had the chance to meet and to interview David Blake. Everything has been taped as well and soon I'll get a copy of that, so I can put down the whole interview here on the site and maybe even a little video of the nicest parts of the interview. David Blake is the director of the newest film Batavia's Temper Blood Fury in which Brett is going to play a big role and this time as a real bad guy! Unfortunately the filming has been postponed until an unknown date but perhaps this got cleared up during the interview. I have to wait for that.
What I can tell you is the great news that this film will also go in premiere in Amsterdam and that both David Blake and Brett Climo are going to come to this! As soon as I have a copy of the interview I'll try to work it out asap and place it on the Batavia's Temper Blood Fury page.

A few days ago I got the interview back from the Director Michael Condran and I made the special page for El Macchiato on the His Carreer page where you can find the answers he has given. Also I found out that Brett has been in an other short film of Michael Condran too called Midnight Expresso. Unfortunately that sort movie has not been saved on the computer as the other one. Still I got some information back from Michael so I could also make a special page for that as well. The page of Midnight Expresso can be found in His Carreer as well.
Also someone posted a message on the yahoo group of Brett Climo that he is going to play in City Homicide. See this little article, which you can find on the Articles page. As soon as I have found more information about this, I'll let you know.

Today I got an email back from the Director Micheal Condran, who worked with Brett on a short film called 'El Macchiato' which I only found out about recently. I've asked him for more information about that film and if he was willing to answer some questions so I can put it up the site and forum. And he's willing to do that. That's why I've opened a topic on the forum where everybody can think about making up good questions. If you want to know more about that, you just have to join the forum and go to the Terrace Board on the Dutch side and look for the topic 'Vragen voor Micheal Condran'. Closing date will be around October 10th.
